#142:What I've Been Up To
Wow, it's been awhile, hasn't it folks? In the meantime, I have gotten into graduate school and have been working furiously to finish my novel before the first day of orientation, which is next Friday. It is going to be pretty amazing to finally say the book is finished. I came up with the ideas and wrote two scripts based in the athenaverse 10 years ago, shot "The Last Alchemist" 9 years ago, finished editing the movie 5 years ago, resolved to write the book 3 years ago, finished writing the first draft 2 years ago, and have been editing it on and off ever since.
Starting graduate school will be quite the change in my life, which is why I wanted to finish the book and start sending it out to agents and publishers. I don't see having much time to devote to writing as I have recently. It makes me realize how much I have done in the past few years, but also regret how much more I could have done. But hey, I wrote a book, that's pretty cool, right?
One course that I will be taking involves website design so I expect that I will be doing some major tinkering with the athenaverse structure sooner rather than later. In the meantime, I will start to post again to get back into the swing of things before I take athenaverse.com to the next level.
